This policy explains what EmoteMaker.ai collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. EmoteMaker is run by Andrew Dysart (“we”, “us”), who is responsible for your information. What we collect

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and your browser’s storage to keep you signed in, remember your drafts and how you found us, measure how the site is used (PostHog and Vercel Analytics), and credit referral partners when you arrive through their links (Rewardful and Trackdesk). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but signing in needs them.

How we use it

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run EmoteMaker, and only what each one needs:

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of EmoteMaker, in which case this policy keeps applying to your information.

Your emotes are private unless you choose to make one public. Public emotes can be seen by anyone on the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and what you make for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and the information tied to it, except records we have to keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, such as purchase records, which tax law can require for up to 7 years. Backups and logs can hold copies for a short time after that.

Your choices and rights

Where your information goes

EmoteMaker is run from the United States, and our providers store and process information in the US and other countries. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

EmoteMaker isn’t for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, email support@emotemaker.ai and we’ll delete it.

Security

We encrypt information in transit, limit who can access it and use providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee your information will never be exposed.

Changes to this policy

We’ll post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you by email or on the site. Our Terms of Service explain the rest of how EmoteMaker works.
